As Chief Executive Officer for PayLease and Ocius, Dave Dutch leads day-to-day operations and formulates strategies for company growth and development. Dave has a track record of growing tech companies to success by implementing growth strategies and building cohesive and motivated teams.
Before his role with PayLease and Ocius, Dave was the Executive Vice President at CDS Global, a Hearst company that manages customer transactions and payment processing for global brands including the American Red Cross, Vogue Magazine and Christie’s International. Prior to CDS Global, Dave held executive leadership roles at software and telecommunications companies including Reynolds & Reynolds, Networkcar, Level 3 and Vignette.
Before the start of his business career, Dave was a Special Operations Officer in the United States Navy. Dave holds a B.S. in Ocean Physics from the U.S. Naval Academy and an MBA from the Broad School at Michigan State University.
As a diehard Michigan State Spartans fan, Dave can always be seen sporting green and white before a game day. In his free time, Dave can be found in the company of family and friends, enjoying some wine, or a good workout at the gym.
As Chief Financial Officer, Jim Kelly directs the overall financial management of PayLease. Jim’s financial expertise and knack for building strong accounting policies and procedures has put PayLease on track for a cycle of continuous growth.
Prior to working at PayLease, Jim served as the CFO for Jenny Craig, one of the world's leading weight management companies. Jim also worked as an audit manager for KPMG LLP, a “Big 4” accounting firm, serving a wide variety of clients. He holds an Accounting degree from the University of San Diego and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Jim was born and raised in NY, but moved to California with his family during high school. When he’s not crunching numbers, Jim enjoys spending time with his three children, running half marathons or skiing.
Ty Kalklosch is responsible for the revenue lifecycle at PayLease, from prospects to pipeline to client to revenue. He heads up the Sales, Business Development and Marketing teams. As one of the co-founders of PayLease, Ty played an integral role in forming strategic partnerships for the company.
Before forming PayLease in 2003 with Yann Phung, Ty worked as a Sales Representative at ADP and at Wolters Kluwers. He is San Diego State University alum and holds a degree in Finance.
When he’s not forming partnerships, Ty can often be found battling co-workers at the PayLease ping-pong table. Outside of the office, Ty enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, as well as cheering on the San Diego Chargers and Los Angeles Lakers.
As Vice President of Sales, Nate Taylor oversees the team of sales executives, sales associates and the client support of PayLease's numerous partners.
Nate holds a degree from the University of South Alabama, where he also played for the school’s baseball team. He also holds the distinction of being the third employee hired at PayLease. Before joining PayLease, Nate worked as a sales manager for First Financial Services and that experience has provided him with expertise in client relationships and sales procedures.
Nate is a loyal Oakland A’s fan and you can often spot Nate wearing his teams’ jersey around the office. In his spare time Nate enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, traveling and attending music concerts.
As Vice President of Account Management, Matt Amoia is responsible for day-to-day management of PayLease's client base. His teams of Onboarding, Account Management and Client Service Specialists provide support and expertise for the company's products and services. As one of the early employees of PayLease, Matt has been pivotal in shaping the company's roadmap.
Matt is a University of Arizona alum where he studied Communications before joining Pulte Homes after of college. He was later founder of Amoia Development specializing in residential and commercial construction and market32 a retail farmers market chain. All together his career spans over 15 years in the real estate industry including development, finance and technology.
Outside of work Matt enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 children at the beach or on the golf course.
In his role as Vice President of Engineering, Wade Williams provides vision and strategic leadership for technology initiatives at PayLease and Ocius. This includes software and product development, managing the Engineering and IT teams and maintaining service levels for all products and services.
Before his role at PayLease and Ocius, Wade was the Vice President of Software Engineering at
Networkfleet, Inc. He also served as Senior Software Engineer for the United Nations International Labor Organization (ILO), and various technical capacities at Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC). He attended Point Loma Nazarene University in Point Loma, California, where he earned a Computer Science/Mathematics degree. Wade is a co-inventor on three US Patents for Internet-based Vehicle Diagnostic Systems and has served on the Web Services Advisory Board of the University of California, San Diego Extension Program.
Wade’s friends and coworkers know he is around from the sight of his vintage baby blue VW Bug. When he isn’t developing the latest technical advancements for PayLease and Ocius, Wade likes to spend time outdoors, skiing, scuba diving or hiking.
Sheldon Lewis serves as the Vice President of Business Development for PayLease where he identifies and develops strategic initiatives to further establish PayLease as the leading payment processor. In addition, Sheldon establishes and maintains relationships with various business partners.
Prior to PayLease, Sheldon worked at Mainsail Partners, a San Francisco-based private equity firm, where he was responsible for delivering and executing new investments, as well as working with portfolio companies. While at Mainsail, Sheldon sourced Mainsail’s investments in PayLease, Steelwedge and The Bar Method. Sheldon also worked as an Analyst in the Technology Group at Piper Jaffray, where he specialized in equity financings, restructurings, and mergers and acquisitions.
Sheldon is a graduate of the University of Colorado, Boulder where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and a Master of Science in Accounting. When he is not in the office, you can find him outdoors running, surfing, golfing, cycling, or skiing.
As Vice President of Product Management & Operations, Kristin Runyan oversees PayLease’s product development and Resident Services operations. With an extensive background in product management and agile methodologies, Kristin has the perfect skillset to manage and execute the product roadmap at PayLease.
Prior to joining PayLease, Kristin worked as Vice President of Product Management at Businessolver, a benefits administration company located in Des Moines, IA. She also previously worked for CDS Global as Chief Product Officer. Kristin earned an undergraduate degree from Texas Christian University and a MBA from Saint Louis University. In addition, Kristin is also a certified Scrum Master (CSM), Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), and Project Management Professional (PMP).
Kristin joined PayLease from Des Moines, IA with her husband, three children and black lab. In her spare time, she loves to write, having co-authored one book (Introduction to Agile Methods) with another on the way. Kristin loves popcorn, fountain coke and the movie, The Princess Bride.
