PayLease Gets Hairy for Movember
PayLease, a leading provider of online rent payments for the property management and HOA industry, today announced its annual participation in Movember to raise money for prostate and testicular cancer.
Movember challenges men to grow just a moustache during the month of November to encourage friends, family and colleagues to donate to their moustache-growing efforts.
Dozens of male PayLeasers grew a mustache for the cause, becoming “Mo Bros”, as coined by the Movember Foundation. Employees crowned “Mr. Movember” by voting for their favorite mustache among the PayLease Mo Bros. Not to be left out, a contest for the most enthusiastic Mo Sista was held for PayLease ladies.
In addition to raising awareness, PayLease donated close to $3,000 to the Movember Foundation. The donation consisted of a $2,000 check from PayLease, and personal contributions of close to $1,000 from PayLease employees.
“Participating in Movember expands our charitable outreach and also aligns well with our fun and playful culture here at PayLease,” said PayLease CEO, Dave Dutch. “The levels of enthusiasm and the stache’s that have resulted from Movember have been quite remarkable! Most importantly, we’ve raised awareness about the most common cancers that plague men” he added.
To date, the Movember community has raised over $550 million and funded over 800 world-class programs in 21 countries.
