PayLease today announced that its Chief Technology Officer, Wade Williams, has been appointed chairman of Tech San Diego’s CTO and Software Engineering Roundtable.
Tech San Diego is a regional industry association that brings together local technology leaders for peer networking and collaboration forums. Its roundtables are invitation-only and blend events, peer-to-peer interaction, benchmarking and other activities that promote information sharing and problem solving.
“We are living in a competitive world and market, and it is vitally important to the continued success of San Diego technology companies that we take the time to learn from one another and share our insights,” Williams said.
At PayLease, Williams directs all technology initiatives including software and product development, managing the Software Engineering team, and maintaining service levels for all products and services. Before joining PayLease, Williams was vice president of software engineering at Networkfleet. He also served as Senior Software Engineer for the United Nations International Labor Organization (ILO), and various technical capacities at Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC).
Williams succeeds founding roundtable chairman Chris Fletcher, vice president of software engineering at Nextech.
